One Step In Thursday
Wow, I'm starting off real great on the posting. Is it bad I fizzled out before writing anything remotely interesting? I don't blame you for never reading my blog again. Seriously, I probably won't even proof read these they are so boring. I'll work on that. So, my life as of now. I'm a firm believer that good times are equaled in life to the bad times. If I have a good week, the next probably won't go so smoothly. And somewhat surprisingly, this hypothesis (love sounding smart, hate science) has proven true so far in my life. That's why I'm teetering on the edge of my seat waiting for this great month I've been having to crash around me. Why did this semester have to become so kick-ass right when it's almost over?! Ok, I'm done teenage-hormone-blogging.
I went to a comedy night tonight! You never know how these things will turn out. Let's face it, other than David Letterman, the Midwest should stick to corn when it comes to comedy. But it was
actually decent! I love seeing other students do something they are so passionate about.
FASHION! I had a fashion-gasm yesterday (sometimes I wonder if I'm genetically engineered to speak so queer...). I was looking through all the spring men's collections on the GQ (grrreat magazine. like my bible. for stuff I will never [ever] be able to buy.) website and I loved so much of it! It's making me realize that I really do have my own aesthetic and don't necessarily have to just like what everyone else says I should. There is definitely some hideous shit out there, but a lot of really great stuff. With the risk of making this blog a novel, I'll cut this short and talk more about it later when I have nothing else to say. But as a quick note of the shows I looked at, the apparent 'army' trend we are headed in scares me. Save the army for the people that are...in the army. Is that too much to ask? Men have enough trouble looking like pigs without the help of designers allowing them to be even more hardass. That is all. (pictures are of some of my favorite looks. Find beauty, Make beauty,

Stuff of the Moment: Frozen cokes and the band Owl City. Listen! (oh, and he's gorgeous.)
And So It Begins...
What do armadillos, cotton candy, mushrooms, and Madrid have in common? None of them will be in this blog.

I write this as an outlet. A pouring of my life into the world. An opening and unleashing of my mind. Except not nearly that metaphorical, and not close to being that serious. This is simply a chance to show the world my perspective, paradox. I'm a 20 year old Visual Communications major and Fashion minor in the Midwest, and at times my life seems like a contradictory jumble of random occurrences. I may not have much to offer, but I hope this string of events I call my life can offer someone somewhere some kind of influence, or at least a smidgen of a chuckle. This is what I have to offer.
What to look forward to: I am interested in all things design, and love art, fashion, food, politics, television, acting, and maybe even a dash of entertainment gossip (shh, that's between you and me). As a gay man studying fields that couldn't get much, well...gayer, my blog will focus on interests of the gay variety. The following entries are everything that interests me accompanied by my translation of the world around me.
Welcome to my head.
